Cell Configurations & Information

A comprehensive guide to our premium cell variations and jar sizing behaviors.

Common Cells

Our standard profile heavy-duty lead-acid assemblies deployed across baseline heavy equipment.

Eliminator Cells (EL)

Engineered with extra acid by utilizing the next jar size height up.

  • Standard Rule: A 65-17EL uses an 85-17 jar (height scales to 20-1/8").
  • Exception A: The 100-17EL uses a specialized 25" jar.
  • Exception B: No 125-17EL jar configuration exists.
Elite Power Cells (EP)

Maximizes footprint by squeezing more physical plates into a smaller jar size.

  • Rule (7 to 15 Plates): Uses a jar built for one plate size smaller (e.g., an 85-13EP is squeezed into an 85-11 plate jar).
  • Rule (17 Plates & Up): Uses a jar built for two plate sizes smaller (e.g., an 85-25EP is squeezed into an 85-21 plate jar).
